Notice Concerning Covid-19

In recent days our attention has been drawn to the Coronavirus and its impact on our communities. Scripture directs us to trust the Lord in times like these. But it also instructs us to walk wisely in this world. 

After much prayer and consultation our church leadership decided to cancel all services and activities for the following week. Instead, we will be offering a Bible study on PHBC’s Facebook page at our regular worship time of 10:30 and invite you to join us in worship.

A determination about the following Sunday’s gatherings will be made next week.

We would like to assure you that this decision was not made lightly, nor was it made from a spirit of fear. Rather, we came to this choice based on an abundance of love for those in our congregation and community who are most vulnerable to this virus. Further, in accordance with Romans 13, we want to honor the request made by Governor Brian Kemp to restrict public gatherings where ever possible.

Above all, we encourage everyone to show the greatest amount of confidence in Christ during this time. His promises are still true. He is still in control. His love still shelters each of us.
